Those of us who visit or live in the Pikes Peak region know that “America’s Mountain” is ever present in our view and in our minds. It looks and feels different in every season, weather condition and time of day. Mary is inspired to paint this majestic image of her home using several forms of watermedia. She attempts to capture impressions of what this magnificent scene produces, not only visually but also emotionally.
